Travel Signature
Travel Signature is an interactive installation located in the moving walkway at the airport. It is a visualization of the soundscape with the travelers’ data. With a pressure sensor and a sound sensor, it can identify the unique voice tone and loudness of the traveler, and instantly generate a CO2 bubble whose diameter and length varies from their data. Also, the color of the bubbles would change according to the total weight of the travelers.
The Challenge
The traditional moving walkway in the airport is boring, only the slow-moving conveyor mechanism that transports people. It could be a fun experience. The installation creates a temporary interaction between travelers and their visual soundscape bubble. When the bubble burst, the stain left behind would become a unique signature of every traveler.
